GREEN SAVIOURS OF INDIA aims to equip teachers with tools for ‘effective environmental education’ among school teachers’ across cities in India, which translates to the younger generation for ensuring sustainable growth in near future.. These workshops are jointly conducted by Dr. Preeti Aggarwal and Mr.Rakesh  Khatri, along with active support of Mr. Animesh Kapoor (Naturalist with Eco Roots Foundation) and employee volunteers at Viom Networks. The GSI workshop will train more than 3500 teachers directly through interactive workshop on the VAI method: Visual, Activity and Inspire methodology. The mentors demonstrate the VAI method in every workshop and explain how its adoption will benefit the teachers in delivering environmental education at schools. GSI project has four unique features: i) all subject teachers are target audience, ii) no additional curriculum is provided, iii) simple and non-expensive methods are discussed, and iv) delivered in multi-cultural and lingual regions.  We have  covered major cities  like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow , Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bhubneshwar, Raipur, Ahmadabad, Bhopal, Patna, Meerut and Delhi  in three months.
