GREEN SAVIOURS OF INDIA aims to equip teachers with tools for ‘effective environmental education’ among school teachers’ across cities in India, which translates to the younger generation for ensuring sustainable growth in near future.. These workshops are jointly conducted by Dr. Preeti Aggarwal and Mr.Rakesh Khatri, along with active support of Mr. Animesh Kapoor (Naturalist with Eco Roots Foundation) and employee volunteers at Viom Networks.
The GSI workshop will train more than 3500 teachers directly through interactive workshop on the VAI method: Visual, Activity and Inspire methodology. The mentors demonstrate the VAI method in every workshop and explain how its adoption will benefit the teachers in delivering environmental education at schools. GSI project has four unique features:
i) all subject teachers are target audience,
ii) no additional curriculum is provided,
iii) simple and non-expensive methods are discussed, and
iv) delivered in multi-cultural and lingual regions.
We have covered major cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow , Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bhubneshwar, Raipur, Ahmadabad, Bhopal, Patna, Meerut and Delhi in three months.
Save the Little Friend House Sparrow
One of our most successful and impactful program where we took a hands on approach to bird and mainly conservation by making sparrow specific bird houses to conserve the dwindling population of our friends, we have made approximately 12000 jute based bird houses and around 20000 wooden ones till date, we have done this with almost 1800 schools and numerous RWA’s and corporate, we regularly conduct workshops on this even still, for this program we were awarded The International Green Apple Award at the House of Commons in London , for the best practice of SPARROW CONSERVATION

Eco Roots Foundation believes that the most powerful element of the human mind is imagination which may brings back the glory of the nature and portrays the dangers to it through theatre. Prithvi Vandana was an Ecoskool festival, fundamentally an environmental message builder on global warming and climate change
With this initiative Panasonic prime objective was to encourage and engage young minds about Global Warming and Climate Change using theatre as the mode of communication and inspire people to make strong individual and collective steps towards saving the same.
