Scientific Cabinet of Curiosity

Mobile cum Virtual Exploratory providing a platform to facilitate Interactive & Fun Science Communication around Natural Elements

Project Objective –

  • To inculcate scientific inquisitiveness and temper among students (from classes VI to VIII).
  • To provide a platform for the students to interact out of the class and with the elements and experimental toys/ instruments which can be held and played with.
  • To create the platform in the form of a mobile cum virtual exploratory.
  • To carry out virtually augmented field activities for nurturing zones of cyber-physical force fields (special interest zones in different scientific explorations & pursuits) for students and associated communities/ families.

Project Methodology –

  • The project needs to be implemented in three states that is Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh & Delhi. Each of the state, one city would be chosen to implement the project. The outreach must be 10 schools in each state.
  • One school in each city would be chosen as Nodal School which would also be the host school for the Mobile cum virtual exploratory. The vehicle along with resource persons would be available there for 3 days and the other 6 schools could be invited during that period as 3 schools we are covering for Uttar Pradesh in Noida.
  • Each school would be invited with 80-100 students along with 2 assisting/coordinating teachers and the students would come and first visit the elements laid down along the vehicle, then have an interaction with the resource person and then would do some experiments. Each school would spend about 2 hours with the van.
